The battery cables meet the requirements of SAE J1127 (Type SGT) and SAE J378 making them ABYC and US Coast Guard approved for boat and marine use. These cables are very suitable for use as welding cable and have up to 15% more copper per gauge size since these cables are FULL AWG Sizes copper content.
